Cascade Drilling/Technical Services named 2016 Innovator Award Winner at Dexter + Chaney’s Connect 2016 Users’ Conference Cascade Drilling Logo

Dexter + Chaney, the forerunner in construction ERP software that is run and saved in the cloud has announced that Cascade Drilling/Technical Services received the 2016 Innovator Award. Winning this award means that Cascade has incomparably grown and/or bettered their company by using Spectrum Construction Software. It was awarded at the Dexter + Chaney’s Connect Users’ Conference.

“Cascade is incredibly honored to receive the Innovator Award,” said Cascade Chief Financial Officer Tyler Kopet. “Our partnership with Dexter + Chaney has made a significant impact on the way we manage data throughout our business. Cascade looks forward to the continued success and growth of our business supported by Spectrum.”

Cascade provided environmental and infrastructure drilling in high resolution site characterization technologies. Starting in 1991 with its offices in Portland, Oregon, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California, it partnered with Emigrant Capital Corp. and opened offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, Boise, Idaho, San Francisco and San Diego, California. Cascade brought Boart Longyear’s Environmental Infrastructure Business, ZEBRA Environmental Services and Vironex Technical Services onto their team. The company is making well over $200 million annually, has 46 locations and has over 850 employees.

Cascade states they rely on Spectrum and all aspects of its construction ERP and business management software solution. Spectrum is performed and saved in the cloud and therefore has helped cascade considerably integrate operations, and keeping the field and office staff literally up to the minute connected with data and projects information exchanges.

“Cascade has a spectacular story to tell with its growth in recent years,” said Dexter + Chaney President Norbert Orth. “The company’s dedication to a growth strategy that engages leading-edge technology on a daily basis and commits to improving its team members’ processes and work environments is why it is more than deserving of our 2016 Innovator Award.”

Hunter Contracting, out of Gilbert, Arizona, and Peterson Constrution from Minneapolis, Minnesota, received honor for being finalists for the Dexter + Chaney innovator Award at the 20th Annual Connect Users’ Conference.

The conference this year consisted of classes to learn new things, discussion groups about products, solo training, times when guests could network, and speeches from CEO and co-founder John Chaney as well as Connie Podesta, an award winning keynote speaker. They held a “Spectrum Boot Camp” for those of the guests who wanted to dig deeper into how spectrum works.

“Like Cascade, Dexter + Chaney has enjoyed its own significant growth over the past few years,” Orth said. “We’re pleased to share that growth with our clients by continually reinvesting in Spectrum. Our Connect Users’ Conference, is just another of the many ways we work directly with our clients to provide them with the tools they need to get the most out of Spectrum.”
